About Us

We are a group of volunteers looking to rebuild and restore the house and stables within Plean Country Park back to their former glory for use by the community. We are looking to do this as a Community Asset Transfer and we are in discussions with Stirling Council.

We are a group of volunteers looking to rebuild and restore the house and stables within Plean Country Park back to their former glory for use by the community. We are looking to do this as an Community Asset Transfer and we are in discussions with Stirling Council.

We believe the buildings are worth saving and restoring before they are completely lost.

We have spent the last year doing the groundwork to form ourselves as an independent trust. That has included carrying out a community consultation, speaking to people who are interested in what we are looking to do, meeting with various professional bodies to obtain advice, form ourselves as a group, determine our constitution which governs us and apply to the Scottish Charity Regulator OSCR to become a charity.

We were awarded charitable status in January 2026 and we are now a Charity (SCIO) Registered in Scotland – SC054907

We are under no illusion that what we are aiming to do is ambitious – we have two buildings and one ambitious plan.

Come join us and help make the past a beautiful future.
